COVIDWISE is an app promoted by the government of the State of Virginia for the rapid detection and tracking of Coronavirus cases in this region of the United States. The USA is among the countries most affected by the pandemic, so several states have started to use technology to track the virus.

Similar to other Coronavirus tracking apps, COVIDWISE uses Bluetooth to track cases. To safeguard your security, COVIDWISE identifies users with personal alphanumeric codes, so you don't have to share your first name, last name, or location.

COVIDWISE notifies users if they have been in contact with a positive case of COVID-19 for more than fifteen minutes. If you receive an alert, contact your local health center to receive more information. Not only that but all your data is erased after fifteen days.
